Aisha Hinds is an American actress best famous for her role in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her range in acting giving outstanding performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. The role she played in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to catch her interest. The film was primarily for her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer from the biography film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she was due as an actor. Hind is also being acknowledged for her performance in the role she played in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's period-drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the series for a new season. The show was renewed for a third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is scheduled for release by the mid-year of 2019.
