Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the new theater company Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the company's producer costume/set designer writer/music director as well as a text coach. Although she usually led from inside her ensemble of actors, in her last year alongside SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer.
