Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts artist who is a part of the UFC in the Flyweight Division, is an Kyrgyzstani. She is also the elder sister of former UFC Flyweight champ and fellow UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko first began fighting sports by becoming an Muay Thai Kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals by unanimous decision. Antonina continued to win and won a silver medal in 2007 a bronze medal in 2008, a gold medal in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia began her professional career in 2003 and won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 and the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in The Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Shevchenko set her professional MMA record in 2002 during the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She was victorious with a TKO in the second round, and then won her two subsequent bouts, both at WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. It gave her a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko stopped fighting to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui in Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko defeated Anissa in a unanimously-decided match after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She joined the Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina made use of her formidable striking abilities and striking skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch with knees and body. Then, Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
