Angie Harmon has been an American model/actress for many years. She has appeared in many films and television series. The model started out modeling, however after she gained international recognition she decided to take on acting. She started her acting career through the 1995 TV show, 'Baywatch Nights. Harmon has also performed voice acting, and she has also contributed her voice to an animated version of the film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. Harmon took a decision early in 2000 to stop doing TV acting and concentrate exclusively on films. In the mid 2000s she returned to TV series following a brief time in movies. One of the few actors in 2008 who discretely photographed naked in "Allure" magazine. Her main work is as the detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. As detective, she has been very well-respected and was awarded prizes. Angie Harmon is nominated and awarded for outstanding work.
